Eine M\u00f6glichkeit, den Wasserstoffhochlauf zu unterst\u00fctzen, bieten daher H2-Derivate wie Ammoniak, synthetisch hergestellte Erdgase (L-SNG), Methanol sowie Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carrier (LOHC). Hinzu kommt, dass h\u00e4ufig bereits vorhandene Transportinfrastrukturen genutzt werden k\u00f6nnen. Eine Umwandlung in ein Derivat erm\u00f6glicht eine Abdeckung verschiedener Anwendungsbereiche.<br><br>Die Nachteile der Derivate resultieren haupts\u00e4chlich aus den weiteren notwendigen Umwandlungsschritten, die den Wirkungsgrad reduzieren und zu h\u00f6heren Kosten f\u00fchren.
